PM Modi said, all the children who are between the age of 15 years to 18 years, now for them vaccination (Corona Vaccine for Children) will start in the country. It will be started from Monday, January 3, 2022.

‘Senior citizens will get booster dose’
He said that today more than 61% of the adult population of the country has received both the doses of the vaccine. Similarly, about 90% of the adult population has been given a single dose of the vaccine. The Prime Minister said, now citizens with co-morbidities above the age of 60 years, on the advice of their doctor, the option of ‘Precaution Dose’ of the vaccine will be available to them. It will also be started from 10 January 2022.

Health worker will also get extra dose
He said, we all have experience that those who are corona warriors, healthcare and frontline workers, they have a great contribution in keeping the country safe in this fight. Because of them we are all safe in our homes today. Even today, he spends a lot of his time in the service of the patients of Corona. Therefore, from the point of view of Precaution, the Government has decided that Precaution Dose of Vaccine will also be started for Healthcare and Frontline Workers. It will be started from Monday, January 10, 2022.
