Omicron: 8 patients of the new variant found here, no one had traveled abroad

Omicron is continuously spreading its bases in the country and numerous people who have returned from abroad have been verified to be infected. But now eight new cases of Omicron variant of nimbus contagion have been reported in Maharashtra and no case has traveled abroad lately.
28 infected so far in the state
The Health Department said in a bulletin that with the new cases, the number of people infected with the new variant of SARS-CoV-2 has increased to 28 in the state. Of these, seven cases were reported in Mumbai and three women were among the infected.
The health bulletin said,’As per the report given moment by the National Institute of Virology (NIV), Pune, eight further cases have been plant infected with Omicron in the state. Of these, seven cases are from Mumbai and one case is from Vasai-Virar (a small agreement in Mumbai).

It said that out of these eight people, seven have entered the nimbus vaccine and their slaver samples have been taken for testing in the first week of December. The department said that all the infected are in the age group of 24 to 41. He told that three out of eight are showing no symptoms, while five have mild symptoms of infection.
“As per primary information, none of them have returned from other countries,”the bulletin said. The bulletin said that one of the people infected with the Omicron variant had traveled to Bengaluru, while the other had visited New Delhi.
It said that out of the eight cases, two are in sanitarium and six are under home counterblockade and their close connections are being traced.
